This role involves the installation, programming, modification, and commissioning of fire alarm systems. The technician will work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion. Key Responsibilities * Install fire alarm cabling and conduit * Mount and connect notification and initiating devices * Troubleshoot electrical issues (e.g., ground faults, open circuits) * Program fire alarm panels for new or updated devices * Collaborate with project managers to resolve site issues * Submit daily/weekly progress reports based on project scope * Ensure projects are completed within scheduled labor hours * Attend site meetings and provide customer training as needed * Conduct pre-tests and final inspections with AHJs * Complete all required documentation Requirements * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints * Hands-on experience with Gamewell FCI, Fire-lite, and Silent Knight systems (preferred) * NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification (preferred) * Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills * High school diploma or equivalent Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
