Job Posting: Registration Clerk Department: Patient Admissions Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Registration Clerk to join our hospital's front-line team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and visitors during the admissions process. Key Responsibilities: * Check in and register patients upon arrival * Accurately enter patient demographics into the system * Verify patient and visitor identity using photo ID and personal information * Determine payment method (out-of-pocket or financial assistance) * Explain and collect signed consent forms * Provide admissions paperwork and verify insurance coverage * Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries Required Skills: * Strong customer service orientation * Familiarity with healthcare environments * Excellent communication skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting * Teamwork and collaboration * Self-motivated and able to work independently Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
