As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in SAN JOSE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, being visible throughout the premises, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Work closely with location staff and visitors to offer assistance and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Comply with all site-specific guidelines for financial institutions while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
