As a Security Officer - Access Control in Millwood, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal team member assigned to an access control post in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and manage visitor flow, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols of the premises, interacting with personnel and visitors, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following company and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and communicate observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with site personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities, such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
