Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Build up and assemble switchboards or wiring pans, such as, but not limited to, roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks, and panels, including breakers and wiring together assemblies.
  • Connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Cut wire to specified lengths and route, twist, wrap, tie, and attach wire to terminal points.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, and reassemble components as necessary.
  • Duties may consist of, but are not limited to, working from production blueprints, wiring diagrams, parts lists, wire lists, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce electrical or Electro-Mechanical subassemblies.
  • Frequently needed to use fine motor skills, assembling some small parts with excellent dexterity.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.11/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week - 3rd Shift.

Length: Temp (8 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment, such as electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, or electrical service industries.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of reading blueprints, diagrams, and various part lists.
  • Ability to read mechanical and wire drawings (blueprints) to assemble product.
  • Ability to read wire diagrams.
  • Ability to use and read a measuring tape with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to work with hand tools (such as open wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, hammer, torque wrench), air-driven tools (such as screw drivers, sockets, nails), and power tools (such as drill machines, shear machines, band saw) to assemble steel enclosures consisting of steel, fiberglass, and copper parts.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs and utilize hand dexterity consistently.
  • Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Perform work overhead.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
