The firm is seeking a Security Director to lead the security staff.

The Security Director will be responsible for building and overseeing the Corporate Security function. This role will report to the Director of Building Operations, Facilities & Security.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Human Resources, and Information Technology, to create alignment and implement security initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships for the maturing Corporate Security function.
  • Develop comprehensive programmatic frameworks, complete with appropriate organizational design, technological components, and metrics.
  • Key driver in building a modern Corporate Security function and achieving programmatic objectives, ensuring quality, managing risks, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Bring a creative thought process and flexibility to manage risks and threats to the firm.


Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) of security management and leadership in the private sector with a broad understanding of security competencies.
  • Defined leadership and management philosophy and organizational development skills.
  • Keen understanding of Enterprise Risk Management, and how all security disciplines come together to assist the firm with managing its risk.
  • Understand the function of governance, duty of care, and the establishment of risk/threat relevant benchmarks for operations and programming.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and educate cross-functional teams and manage complex programs from inception.
  • Demonstrated steady hand during emergency or crisis scenarios.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Board Certified in Security Management, ASIS CPP.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).
