Cytek Biosciences is a fast-growing company to provide tools and solutions for cell analysis. We are seeking a Research Scientist II with experience in monoclonal antibodies, fluorochrome conjugated Ab reagents development and reagent testing on flow cytometry assays. This person will be involved in reagent and assay development for multicolor flow cytometry applications. Candidates are expected to independently execute complex experiments and perform data analysis with some levels of supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform instrument testing using biological samples under supervision supporting new instrument development

Analyze test data, summarize the results and present the data to project team

Support new fluorescent dye development by performing varies experiment to evaluate the performance of the dyes

Test multicolor panels for Cytek innovative flow cytometry assay development with some supervision

Take the owner role in multicolor panel product development and be responsible for generating the needed documents to support the product release

Work with other members in Reagent Group to evaluate conjugated antibody performance at single color and multicolor panel levels

With general guidance, design experiments for mAb reagent testing, carry out the testing, perform the data analysis, summarize results, and present the data to project team

With general guidance, develop the Ab reagent test procedures, work instructions and documentation forms

Provide support for reagent manufacture operations for assay/result troubleshooting.

Work with New products Introduction (NPI) team in new product release

With supervision, write reagent development report and define the bulk conjugates and formulated Ab QC test methods and acceptance criteria

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences. M.Sc. with strong experience in immunology, cell biology and flow cytometry technology is preferred.

2-5 years related experience in a research setting, or pharmaceutical/biotechnology R&D environment.

Applicants should have hands-on knowledge of flow cytometry application in immunology and cell-based assays.

Proven experience in process excellence in an R&D environment.

Extensive hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting flow cytometers.

Good knowledge of flow cytometer reagents

Experience with sample prep and experiment design for multi-parameter flow cytometry applications.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Candidates will be required to be able to lift 25lbs without harm, be able to work in a standing position for an hour at a time and be able to position their body without additional support to work on laboratory benches and obtain access to chemicals and other items on shelves.
