Computer Science has been identified as one of the University's strategic growth areas, launching new expansion plans to educate and train technology talent for the burgeoning South Florida Tech Hub. KF-SCIS seeks candidates for multiple non-tenure-track, open-rank, teaching faculty positions. Successful candidates are expected to teach a variety of courses offered by the school. A terminal degree in computer science or related discipline is required. While this position is not a tenure-track position, it does have a promotion progression: teaching faculty with a terminal degree are eligible for consideration for promotion after five years. Pending enrollment and budgets, teaching faculty have the opportunity to supplement their salary by teaching larger or additional course sections and extending their appointment through the summer.
