What to Expect
TheToolingteamis responsible fortheentire product life cycleof custom service,commissioningandinstall toolstoassistin the rapiddeploymentand maintenance of Telsa'sEnergy storage andEVcharging solutions.This position willdrivethe design, release, and lifecycle management ofcustommechanical and electrical toolsand sustaining engineering projects.Secondary responsibilitieswill own service efficiency workstream, driving service time and cost down.

What You'll Do
  • Own tooltechnical specifications, project scheduling, ROI analysis, and demand forecasting tooptimizefinancial outcomes for tools and sustaining design
  • Own the whole efficiency life cycle: Conduct deep dives via site visits, interviews, and data analysis of existing service actions and collaborating to generate actionable insights and drive stakeholders to completion

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering,field serviceoperations, finance, reliability) to aligntimelines andprioritize initiatives

  • Own electrical and mechanical NPI and Sustaining technical program management from end to end for projects owned by tooling team


What You'll Bring
  • 5+ yearsoftechnical program management experience
  • A continual tinkerer, modifier, and optimizer of systems

  • Experiencein managing and driving hardware design projectsfocusing on the critical path

  • Experience in data-driven forecasting for complex systems

  • Familiarity withGantt charts,Agile, JiraAutomation

  • Proventrack recordofturningvague requests to polished specifications with prioritization driven by business impact

  • Knowledge of implementing and using AI tools for program management is a plus

  • Background in renewable energy systems,electricvehiclecharging or power conversion

    Expected Compensation
    $88,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
