What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors and staff while carrying out daily responsibilities.
• Remain alert to potential security-related concerns, escalating situations to appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports on activities, incidents and observations during the shift as required by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
