As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct armed patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to security-related situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those involving medical emergencies and/or disruptions within the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and local authorities as needed to address incidents and maintain order within the location.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
