Remote Email Marketing Specialist

The Opportunity *This is a remote role*

The Email Marketing Specialist will join the Email Marketing Team and is responsible for the development, execution, and reporting of email marketing programs for our production and marketing nationwide. The email marketing team is tasked with creating and monitoring a wide variety of email marketing campaigns. Ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly.



  • Work with marketing and production teams to achieve business objectives through email
  • Create and monitor a wide variety of email marketing campaigns
  • Ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
  • Proofread key messaging in and out of email templates, placing client first
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Include persuasive 'call-to-actions' in email marketing
  • Use statistical analysis and reports to generate and tweak campaigns
  • Track & analyze campaign results
  • Own end-to-end email campaigns assigned to you, including content, production, testing, setup, and deployment
  • Manage the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our existing email marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate A/B testing of various email campaign features (i.e., subject lines, layouts, color, cadence, etc.)
  • Work with the team to design, execute and regularly monitor all email programs, campaigns, and A/B tests. Continually optimize for improvement of existing email programs while testing new ones. Focus on customer acquisition and retention
  • Clearly and succinctly communicate results to key stakeholders and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Work with our customer-facing advisors to implement leads and customer outreach strategies that build relationships and drive growth.
  • Stay current with email marketing best practices for content, design, and strategy.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer data to support the creation of personalized email messages
  • Assist in enforcing email best practice across the organization


What you will need to be successful in this role



  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and strategic-thinking skills are required.
  • Computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office, is required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe InDesign
  • Expert in HTML and CSS
  • 2+ years' experience with marketing automation platforms, such as, Salesforce Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, or equivalent required
  • Direct experience with Salesforce Pardot preferred
  • Experience working on multiple email programs and enterprise-level marketing platform preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as proofing skills required
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • One to three years prior experience in a similar position.
