Interstates is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician I to join our Manufacturing team in Sioux Center, Iowa. This entry-level role supports the Quality Manager and production team in maintaining high product quality standards for control panels and related assemblies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and motivated to support continuous improvement efforts within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications:
Work Environment & Travel: This role is based out of Sioux Center, Iowa, and is performed primarily in a manufacturing and shop environment with exposure to moderate to high noise levels, electrical components, and active production areas. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee frequently stands or walks for extended periods and uses hands to handle tools and materials. Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and climbing ladders or scaffolds may be required. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish slight differences in shapes or shading. Safety remains a top priority. Employees must adhere strictly to site safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and safety glasses.
