Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal assigned to a retail location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the site to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for guests and associates. This is a primarily driving post, where your visibility and presence help foster a welcoming atmosphere. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding area to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, guests, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
• Assist with crowd control and/or line management as needed during busy periods or special events.
• Document all incidents and observations according to established Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
