Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will help to deter security-related incidents while offering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and/or patients to support a secure environment within the healthcare setting.
• Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management regarding security-related protocols and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
