What You'll Do:

• Control access at entry and exit points within the automotive location, verifying credentials and monitoring visitor and employee flow.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to help to deter unauthorized access or activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with site-specific policies, directions, and information as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support compliance with site procedures.
• Operate security-related technology, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems, as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with supervisors, team members, and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Document and report any unusual occurrences, observations, or incidents according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience working with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• A current Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
