As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while conducting routine patrols throughout an educational location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of individuals on campus.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing individuals as needed.
• Support event security-related operations and crowd management as directed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local emergency services as required to address incidents or security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
