As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Front Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will play a vital role in welcoming visitors, managing access control, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations. You will deliver outstanding customer service, assist with badge procedures, and help to deter security-related incidents through your attentive presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and direct them to appropriate contacts or locations within the building.
• Maintain logs of visitor and contractor activity at the front desk as required by site protocols.
• Observe the front desk area and surrounding lobby to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with internal staff and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Support emergency response activities from the front desk position, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
