Manager, Unit Lead - PSP Sales & Gross Profit

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the forecasting, accounting and financial reporting activities (including monthly/quarterly/annual financial/SOX audits) of three product segements associated with AHM's Power Sports and Products Business Unit in accordance with North American financial reporting standards and accounting consistencies while ensuring compliance with IFRS/US GAAP/SOX.

This unit is responsible for the creation, consolidation, and submission of financial forecasts and analysis of multiple factories and support groups, this includes the analysis of the profitability of the three PSP Product Segments (PE, ATV, & MC) and their consolidation into the North American financial footprint and roll up to Global Honda activities.   • Managing, overseeing, and reviewing profit forecasting activities and results (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, BIM) for 3 of 5 AHM Segments; partnering with FP&A and AFR in reviewing regional (NA) financial results, as well as preparation of reports/analyses for managements' review
  • Leading Variance Analysis and reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually and BIM)
  • Reviewing, publishing, and consolidating forecast BOFC schedules
  • Supporting model profitability data and analysis as requested by various parties
  • Developing/training staff by transferring knowledge; providing challenging work; asking questions for process improvement; and ensuring performance planning is completed timely
  • Decision support for any financial aspect of the PSP business
  • Participating in and/or leading special or non-recurring projects
  • Supporting internal and external audit inquiries and HM requests


We are looking for qualified people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic. To bring the future to Honda as a Manager, Unit Lead - PSP Sales & Gross Profit you must have:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • 10 years of relevant professional financial experience (in distribution and/or manufacturing industries preferred)
  • 3 years supervising other financial professionals
  • Experience in multi-national company and knowledge of automotive or consumer products industry preferred
  • Analytical, organizational, problem solving, self-starter with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in multi-national company is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data structure (Essbase and SAP/BPC) and forecasting processes (understanding of financial ratios and ability to analyse financial statement changes)
  • Ability to apply accounting theory (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)) and develop practical approaches to implementing accounting standards
  • Ability to interface with executive management levels
  • Ability to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
