As a DSC Digital Project Manager is responsible for leading strategic digital transformation initiatives across the Downstream Chemicals (DSC) business. This role drives the successful delivery of technology-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, streamline business processes, enhance data quality, and support business growth. The position partners closely with Operations, Service Delivery, Supply Chain, Commercial, Laboratory, and Digital teams to deliver high-impact projects and ensure successful adoption of new capabilities. The role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring digital solutions address real operational challenges and deliver measurable value.

As a Digital Project Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of digital projects from concept and requirements gathering through deployment and adoption.
  • Developing and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams including DSC Operations, Service Delivery, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Digital organizations.
  • Driving implementation of digital platforms, system integrations, workflow automation, and process improvements.
  • Facilitating stakeholder alignment, governance reviews, and executive reporting.
  • Supporting testing, user acceptance, deployment planning, training, and change management activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to standardize and simplify business processes through technology.
  • Monitoring project performance and drive resolution of issues impacting delivery.
  • Tracking and communicate project milestones, risks, outcomes, and business value realization.
  • Promoting adoption of digital tools and continuous improvement across DSC operations.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Have minimum 5 years of direct Downstream Chemicals (DSC) experience.
  • Have strong understanding of DSC operational workflows, service delivery processes, field execution, inventory management, laboratory operations, and customer support requirements.
  • Have minimum 5 years of project management, program management, digital transformation, or business process improvement experience.
  • Have proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Critical Requirement

  • Candidates must possess direct Downstream Chemicals experience. Candidates whose experience is limited to generic IT, software development, consulting, or project management functions without demonstrated DSC operational knowledge will not be considered.
