Are you ready to make a significant impact in technology and support national defense initiatives? We are seeking a General Technologist to join our dedicated team at Sandia National Laboratories' Tonopah Test Range (TTR). In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that designs and develops advanced systems for national defense programs, homeland security, and nondefense applications. At TTR, you will work with state-of-the-art technologies, including:
Your expertise will be essential as you engage with PC-based control systems, electric drive controls, synchro/servos, and data/video encoder systems. This position requires a solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, and computing systems. On any given day, you may be called on to:
Location and Work Environment: This position is based at TTR, where you will work 3-4 days per week (e.g., 14hr/14hr/12hr or 4/10hrs) at a remote site. Transportation is provided from Tonopah or Las Vegas. Typical workweeks involve traveling to TTR on Tuesdays and returning on Thursdays, with variations based on mission requirements. Please note that this position is not eligible for remote or virtual work options. Salary Range

About Our Team
We oversee the operation of Sandia National Laboratories Tonopah Test Range (TTR). The TTR team is responsible for planning and executing the Flight Test portion of the Stockpile Surveillance program. Additionally, a requirement exists to plan and execute tests in support of other Federal Agencies. Posting Duration
