As a Security Professional - Armed Retail Center - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a prominent retail location, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail/mall property and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist patrons and provide information as needed.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
• Interact with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during incidents.
• Perform duties while armed, adhering to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification required for positions in Texas only.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
