Job Summary: |
Join the Colorado School of Public Health as an Education Coordinator (Business Services Intermediate Professional). This position is a key member of the school's Center for Health, Work & Environment (CHWE) that will support the development, implementation, and expansion of the center's educational programs. The Education Coordinator will develop instructional material, coordinate educational content, develop communication and marketing materials, organize and facilitate in-person events and trainings, and coordinate technology platforms for offerings through online courses, conferences, in-person trainings, and more. The individual in this role should have a customer service mindset and excel in organization, supporting instructors, and fostering a collaborative environment for a wide range of audiences. Organize and facilitate educational activities including schedules, speakers/educators, registration, and communication with participants. Coordinate program logistics including materials preparation, venue booking, speaker/trainer details, and catering. Oversee recruitment and enrollment processes, including responding to inquiries. Draft and distribute communications to program participants and stakeholders. Collaborate with faculty and program leads to align educational initiatives with Center and project needs and goals. Coordinate new educational development (subject matter experts, instructional design, course curriculum). Assist in the development of communication and marketing efforts such as website content, newsletters, and promotional materials. Assist in collecting participant/training feedback and evaluating program effectiveness.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position that reports to the CHWE Deputy Director. |

Hybrid -This position is located on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO and is expected to work on site three days per week. Qualifications: |
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, communications, education or a directly related field from an accredited institution One (1) year of experience in an administrative support, event coordinator, or program evaluation role.
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Substitution: An advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis if the degree is in a field of study directly related to the work assignment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in program coordination and/or project management. Comfort using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Google, Zoom, and web applications. Experience working in adult education. Experience working with a team of professionals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Excellent oral communication skills. Demonstrated experience in fostering a community that values a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Anticipated Salary Range: |
The starting target salary for this position has been established as $55,975 - $63,000. The above salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
