Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to support our clients by providing technical support to the EM CBC NY Projects Office - Bettis Site, to the FPD, federal staff and ETA Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing Performance Work Statements for the Naval Reactors Bettis D&D and ER scope.
  • Developing operational control agreements when needed for transferring temporary ownership of property to the contractors.
  • Reviewing and providing responses to requests for information from contractors.
  • Reviewing and providing comments on contractor procedures and Program planning documents; Security Plan; Health and Safety Plan; Well Decommissioning Report; Water Management Plan; Chemical Sampling Plan; Erosion Control Plan, Excavation Work Plan, Demolition Completion Report, Community Air Monitoring Plan, RCRA Waste Management Plan and Excavation Work Plan.
  • Participating in site tours/visits.
  • Participating in strategic planning sessions.
  • Participating in Bettis IPT calls.
  • Providing ad hoc support as requested by the FPD, federal staff and ETA PM.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in environmental/regulatory arena.
  • DOE nuclear facility management experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Twenty (20) Years of experience in environmental/regulatory arena
  • DOE environmental project experience, knowledge of DOE, Federal, and State environmental regulations, and Facility Representative certification.
