Join a Dynamic Team of Nurse-Midwives at the University of Iowa The University of Iowa's Nurse-Midwifery Division, housed within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) to join our growing faculty on the non-tenure clinical track. | Education Requirement: |
- Master's degree. If master's degree is not in nursing, a baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
|
| Required Qualifications: |
- Minimum two years of experience as a practicing midwife
- Active RN/ARNP license from the Iowa Board of Nursing (required prior to hire)
- Strong inpatient and outpatient clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to teaching and mentoring in an academic setting
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, evening clinics, and off-site care

| Desirable Qualifications: |
- EPIC proficiency and interest in group prenatal care are highly desirable
