What does a FP&A Analyst do at Swire Coca - Cola?
The Financial Reporting Analyst role provides financial information to various internal and external stakeholders by compiling and analyzing account information; analyzing accounting options; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other special and ad-hoc reports; reconciling discrepancies; auditing documents; preparing and recommending policies and procedures; supporting other Finance and Accounting leaders and team members.

Responsibilities



  • Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Summarize current financial results for stakeholders by collecting information, preparing financial reporting, performing ad-hoc analysis, and developing other special reports
  • Contribute to the production of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures
  • Maintain documentation related to financial reporting processes and procedures
  • Support and perform month-end closing processes
  • Prepare journal entries by compiling support and analyzing account information
  • Analyze current and past trends in financial performance including key performance indicators. Highlight, research, and explain unexpected variances
  • Support preparation of certain corporate level payments by verifying documentation, determining account coding, and requesting disbursements
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for reporting purposes
  • Implement process improvements including financial reporting tool enhancement and automation opportunities
  • Complete ad-hoc requests and analysis to drive improved decision making and financial performance
  • Participate in special projects such as audits, system upgrades, or process creation or updates


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Experience analyzing, consolidating, and interpreting accounting data required
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously with orientation on results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Ability to extract and analyze large data files and manipulate them into reports for analysis
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools
  • SAP experience preferred
