Supports scheduling of pediatric patients for surgical and peds sedation cases.
These roles focus on managing and overseeing the operations of UVA's healthcare organization and systems. Ensuring that healthcare facilities and services operate efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulations. Work on the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of healthcare management to improve patient care, optimize resource use, and drive overall organizational success. These roles focus on managing and optimizing the day-to-day functions and logistics of UVA's healthcare organization to ensure efficient, effective, and patient-centered care. These roles are integral to maintaining the operational integrity of healthcare facilities and systems, coordinating resources, ensuring smooth operations between departments within the health system. Individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical). Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Fully competent and productive individual contributor. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Makes minor adjustments to working methods. Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: 3-5 years' experience in a clinical setting (hospital, surgery center or ambulatory clinic) in administrative or clinical roles Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThis is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
