Job Description
OVERVIEW The iSquad is an internal consulting group for General Mills that leads business teams through the "fuzzy front end" of innovation for new product development, and identification of core growth opportunities. We are a 7 person, cross-functional team, and part of the Strategy & Growth organization. Our mission is to drive growth across the enterprise by helping business teams create successful innovation and core growth strategies. We accomplish this by creating robust opportunity pipelines that are populated with profitable, differentiated ideas. The team works across operating units and functions on a variety of brands and opportunities. iSquad team members must integrate consumer research, business strategy, technology, and an understanding of team dynamics into comprehensive solutions that generate growth for the company. To address the "fuzzy front end" of innovation, the iSquad has developed a best-in-class, proprietary approach called I3. I3 is a comprehensive program that combines business fundamentals with consumer experience, competitive intelligence, cultural and marketplace trends, expert opinions, and other existing information to create new strategies and growth ideas. As iSquad Project Coordinator, you will manage the team's daily and long-term logistical needs, handling all administrative tasks and supporting key aspects of the I3 process (Immersion, Interaction, and Ideation) to ensure optimal project execution. You will also create visually engaging presentations that translate complex project learnings into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences. In this role, you will be the primary support ensuring the smooth operation of this internal strategic consultancy within the Consumer Insights organization. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the design and creation of visually engaging presentations and project output, leveraging strong design skills to effectively communicate complex information
- Manage all iSquad online facilitation and interaction tools/capabilities (e.g. Teams, Zoom, Miro, etc.)
- Oversee iSquad office space, inclusive of catering needs, supply needs, meeting room lay-out and facilities-related issues
- Assist with consumer recruit, inclusive of coordinating logistics with the agency, screener creation and conducting pre-screen interviews
- Responsible for maintaining all group technology related platforms (iSquad Share drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
- Occasional assistance with project/session facilitation of teams
- Responsible for project documentation capture and archiving of final output
- Manage project tracking, budget expenditures and vendor payments (POs & IOs)
- Prepare/coordinate activities and dates for iSquad client sessions including the scheduling of client teams/expert personnel, artists, consultants, etc. and/or support staff needed in client team sessions
- Frequently function as the primary contact with Legal when advice is needed, or confidentiality/consulting agreements are required
- Book domestic and international travel (airfare, hotel, car) for iSquad team members
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and tasks from multiple team members with executional excellence
- Experience including high proficiency in frequently used software programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Share Point, Miro)
- Expert in crafting compelling presentations using PowerPoint and other design tools, demonstrating a mastery of visual communication principles and best practices
- Must have strong organizational skills and work well under pressure.
- Must have initiative to work and problem-solve with minimal direction. Must use resourcefulness and tenacity to find new solutions and information from a variety of sources.
- Flexibility and patience with changing work patterns and a willingness to try new methods
- Proficiency with grammar, spelling, punctuation and word usage
- Ability to work with detailed information, prioritize tasks, and show a results-oriented attitude
- Must deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization and outside the company
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and practice of additional design (e.g. Canva) and AI tools
- Proficient at learning new (software) tools and training others on their usage
- Knowledge and practice of basic team-facilitation skills
- Knowledge and practice of basic consumer interview moderation techniques

- International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.

The salary range for this position is $50400.00 - $69400.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
