About the Role:


The Kinetic Fiber NOC Analyst is responsible for proactive surveillance, triage, dispatch, and coordination of repair activities for the Kinetic Fiber Distribution Network. This role ensures rapid detection and resolution of network events impacting multiple broadband customers, driving cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime and ensure timely restoration. The Analyst will interact with various internal NOC verticals to include Transport NOC, Kinetic Broadband NOC, NOC Automation, Kinetic Repair, Dispatch, Field Operations, Kinetic Construction, and Single Source Fiber Providers to quickly resolve service outages and impairments.


The role will serve in a technical support NOC organization that (via automation) proactively monitors the Kinetic Fiber network for faults, performs diagnosis of service troubles and works aggressively to repair identified issues.


What You'll Do:



  • Monitor ticket queue for automation-generated and manually created tickets as well as accept ad-hoc reports from partner verticals


  • Create, update, and manage trouble tickets in the Kinetic Salesforce (KSF) system.


  • Validate alarms and confirm whether issues are isolated to the distribution network or tied to higher-level network events.


  • Ensure network problems are resolved quickly and effectively. Technical skills on Broadband PON vendor platforms (Adtran, Calix, Nokia) and distribution fiber networks will be required.


  • Work with internal groups, vendors, and carriers to resolve network and customer circuit problems


  • Accept inbound calls from field technicians for technical support and restoral confirmation.


  • Ensure adherence to NOC/Company standards, processes and procedures


  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incident progress, repair activities, and resolution outcomes within KSF.


  • Support performance tracking and continuous improvement through detailed record-keeping.



Do You Have?



  • Previous troubleshooting experience of Broadband network elements, protocols, and services


  • Troubleshooting experience and technical understanding of GPON and XGS-PON technologies, specifications and protocols.


  • Understanding of Fiber Distribution Networks


  • Fundamental understanding of telecommunication networks including L1 through L3


Even Better:



  • 1-2 years of operations experience in a Telecommunications Network Operations Center OR 2+ years of operations experience in a Telecommunications Field Operations role


  • Experience working with Salesforce ticketing system


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Visio


Minimum Requirements:


College degree in Engineering or a related field and 1-3 years professional level experience; or 1-2 years professional level related Engineering/Technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience required.


The starting compensation range for this job is $42,869 to $54,683 annually.
