As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere within a dynamic retail environment. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the location, remain highly visible to assist guests and employees, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide high level customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, documenting all incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Interact with customers, staff, and visitors in a professional manner while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.
• Support access control processes, monitor entry and exit points, and verify credentials as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when additional assistance is required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
