The Rader School of Business (RSOB) at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting, beginning Spring 2026.

About The Rader School of Business

The Rader School of Business at MSOE offers a hands-on, technology-forward education that blends analytics, engineering, and entrepreneurship with character and leadership development. Faculty work closely with students and industry partners, leveraging MSOE's world-class resources including Rosie one of the Midwest's most powerful academic supercomputers to deliver transformative, real-world learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and occasional graduate courses in accounting and related areas (both in-seat and occasionally online).
  • Contribute to the design, assessment, and continuous improvement of accounting and finance curricula.
  • Integrate AI, automation, and data analytics into teaching and student projects.
  • Engage in scholarly and professional development activities consistent with MSOE's teacher-scholar model.
  • Support departmental initiatives, including assessment, accreditation, and student career preparation (e.g., CPA readiness, applied learning, internships).
  • Participate actively in departmental and university service.


Qualifications

  • Master's in Accounting, Analytics, Economics or related discipline required; MBA desirable
  • Doctorate in Accounting, Analytics, Economics or related discipline strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching.
  • CPA credential desirable
  • Interest or experience in AI applications, data analytics, or emerging technologies in accounting preferred.
  • Industry experience highly desirable.
