The Rader School of Business (RSOB) at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Accounting and Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative educator who is passionate about preparing the next generation of technically skilled, ethically grounded business leaders. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in accounting, finance, analytics, or financial technology (FinTech) and share our excitement about how artificial intelligence is transforming the future of business decision-making.

As part of a small, collaborative, and forward-thinking department, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of our Accounting and Finance programs, working closely with faculty across business, engineering, and computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting and/or Finance with enthusiasm, creativity, and a focus on applied, hands-on learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, particularly in areas integrating Al, analytics, and data-driven financial decision-making.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to remain current in the discipline and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct scholarly and professional activities aligned with your interests and MSOE9s mission of excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Provide meaningful service through participation in department, university, and accreditation initiatives, helping to advance RSOB's reputation for innovation and character-centered education.


Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (ABD candidates nearing completion considered).
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to integrating emerging technologies, especially Al, analytics, or data visualization, into teaching and research.
  • Professional experience, certification (CPA, CMA, CFA), or practitioner engagement is highly desirable.
