Position Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and a strong work ethic, contributing to our dynamic and innovative environment. This role involves reading blueprints, understanding basics of CAD software like Auto CAD, and performing various mechanical tasks. Key Responsibilities Interpret and read blueprints accurately to guide production parts execution. Demonstrate basic understanding of CAD (Any Software). Understand the difference between metric and imperial units as needed. Utilize tools and mechanical knowledge to support various technical tasks. Measure materials and spaces accurately using tape measures. Collaborate effectively with team members, displaying strong communication and teamwork skills. Maintain a responsible and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies. Exhibit a driven and trainable attitude, willing to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies. Required Education & Qualifications Basic proficiency with computer applications and CAD software. Understanding of mathematical concepts related to unit conversions. Prior experience with tools and mechanical tasks is advantageous. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools. Competence in using a tape measure accurately. Trainable with a strong desire to learn and improve. Responsible and dependable with a positive attitude. Good mathematical skills for unit conversions (metric to imperial and vice versa). This position may require occasional lifting and physical activity.
