Position Description:

The University of Iowa College of Nursing invites nurse scientists who have the potential to transition to faculty at the University of Iowa to complete a 1-2 year post-doctoral fellowship. Those who can build on the research strengths of the college faculty in Gerontology, Pain, Cancer, Mental Health, and Technology and Informatics are encouraged to apply. Individualized postdoctoral study is also available if developed collaboratively with a faculty sponsor.

FELLOWSHIP INCLUDES:

* Mentorship by expert nurse scientists

* Opportunities for coursework and training

* Statistical and data management support, grant development staff and resources

* Grant writing and editorial support

* Networking with strong interdisciplinary teams

Education Requirement:

PhD in nursing from an accredited college/school of nursing

Required Qualifications:

Research interest in an externally fundable area of science

Research mentor identified within the University of Iowa College of Nursing
