This Position reports to:

Global Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will conduct proactive strategic marketing aligned with the Electrification strategy in the US. Each day, you will position ABB in the Utility and Renewables segments as a technology leader delivering excellent customer experience.

While the preference is for candidates to work hybrid out of our Cary, NC office, we are also open to candidates working remotely anywhere in the US.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Marketing and Strategy function in the US. Main stakeholders are customers, sales teams and product marketing teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Strategy planning - Define and execute marketing strategies to engage specified markets through the analysis and identification of customer challenges and pain points, industry segment trends, practices, competitor strategy, etc.
  • Market analysis - Provide market intelligence analysis in support of identification and development of new markets, segments, or solutions.
  • Marketing activation - responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the marketing strategies in accordance with the business marketing and sales strategy and budget.
  • Defines the marketing targets for the assigned area and ensures their achievement.
  • Identifies existing and new business opportunities through market analysis, defines strategy/business plans for each opportunity, and coordinates with the relevant teams.
  • Develop and implement campaigns that incorporate both segment needs as well as business objectives.
  • Develop messaging and content needs - translate business strategy to campaign strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical area is required with 7 years or more of experience in electrification or related industry with background in Product Management, Marketing or Sales; MBA or MS preferred.
  • Expertise in the following activities - marketing strategy, market Intelligence, customer experience, marketing campaign development and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and groups.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $138,800 and $222,080 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
