This Position reports to:

Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring a product or service meets specified quality standards and customer expectations by identifying and reporting defects throughout the manufacturing process and ultimately preventing errors before a product is released to customer.

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite.

This position will report to Quality Manager for Electrification Services (ELSE) in Florence site.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating quality inspections plans and conducts quality inspections, as assigned, to ensure products meet specified requirements and customer expectations in manufacturing and final inspection quality.

  • Reviewing contracts from customer to ensure we meet the quality requirements before accept order.

  • Issuing certificates of conformance as applicable.

  • Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable.

  • Reporting quality issues data and metrics and escalates any product quality or safety non conformance cases to Quality Manager

  • Works in close collaboration with production, engineering or any other department needed to resolve the quality product problems and ensures they are fully addressed by following robust root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.

  • Participating as internal Auditor and in Suppliers audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 and 10CFRPart 50 Appendix B.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or similar, with at least 4 years of experience in Quality department working as Quality Assurance Engineer; or alternately a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in Quality.

  • Strong knowledge in Quality Control tools and Problem Solving methodologies.

  • Lead auditor certified is desirable or at least Internal Auditor certified ISO 9001:2015.

  • Knowledge in 10CFRPart 50 Appendix B is desirable.

  • Operates in a fast-paced environment where decisions must be made quickly, and teamwork is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft outlook.

  • Open to sponsorship
