What does a Senior Manager, Direct Store Delivery do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Sr. DSD (Direct Store Delivery) Planning Manager is pivotal in driving the enterprise's strategic and tactical planning to align with overarching organizational goals. This role emphasizes accountability in executing, refining, and advancing the planning functions to ensure alignment with corporate strategies. By collaborating across multiple functions-including Business Process, IT, other bottling partners, and NAOU (North America Operating Unit) entities-the Sr. DSD Planning Manager works to deliver favorable business outcomes. This role is essential for translating organizational strategy into actionable planning initiatives, leveraging cross-functional collaboration and innovative thinking to drive impactful business results.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead the execution for the enterprise in strategic and daily planning to align with the organization's strategic vision
  • Utilize data-driven insights and market analysis to optimize planning processes, aligning them with evolving business goals
  • Oversee the development of KPIs for planning functions and continuously refine them to drive improved performance
  • Partner closely with Business Process, IT, and other bottling entities to ensure planning functions are integrated and aligned across teams
  • Foster relationships with North America Operating Units to share best practices, identify synergies, and implement collaborative solutions
  • Work alongside field operation teams to ensure the planning approach is adaptable to on-the-ground realities and operational challenges
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline planning workflows and enhance operational productivity
  • Apply critical analysis to existing workflows and recommend changes that reduce inefficiencies and support overall business objectives
  • Advance the capabilities of the planning function by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, and accountability
  • Manage and mentor planning teams to ensure high performance and alignment with departmental and organizational goals
  • Utilize technology, data analytics, and critical thinking to build a proactive team capable of executing complex planning tasks effectively
  • Lead initiatives to incorporate new tools and technologies that improve data accuracy, planning speed, and decision-making quality
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree College degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics or Operations. required and
  • APICS, Six Sigma or OE Green Belt Certification preferred
  • 2+ years of combined experience in Planning, Sales, and/or Supply Chain required or
  • 6+ years progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required required
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts and technology including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred
  • Working knowledge of Ortec Suite, Samsara, Salesforce, Snowflake and Forms.com
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication/ presentation skills with timely follow-up
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Building collaborative relationships
