Schedule: Hybrid/Full Time

Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager leads the accounts payable function and supports operational and financial accuracy across the organization. The role manages a team, oversees vendor payments, monitors expense reporting, and ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. The manager collaborates with finance, procurement, and operations to maintain effective processes, safeguard data integrity, and support seamless financial transactions.

What You'll Do



  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts payable team through training, guidance, and performance evaluations
    * Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reporting, and reconciliations
    * Maintain positive vendor relationships and resolve inquiries or discrepancies
    * Review and validate invoices before payment to ensure accuracy and adherence to policy
    * Coordinate timely and accurate vendor payments using financial systems
    * Monitor employee expense reports and enforce compliance standards
    * Maintain strong internal controls and mitigate financial risk
    * Collaborate with finance during month end and year end closing
    * Improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
    * Stay current on regulations and industry standards to maintain compliance
    * Prepare accounts payable reports and analytics, including aging and cash flow projections
    * Work cross functionally with procurement, finance, and operations to solve issues and improve workflow
    * Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
    * Provide training and guidance on payable processes, policies, and systems


What We're Looking For



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    * Proven experience managing an accounts payable function
    * Knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls
    * Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
    * Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and issue resolution skills
    * Effective leadership and communication skills
    * Strong organization and time management
    * Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
    * Problem solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement
    * Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards is a plus

Work Environment
This role is hybrid/office-based with regular computer use and frequent communication both in person and virtually. Standard physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, and light lifting.
