Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, in house, Human Resources Specialist to lead and manage all functions of our HR initiatives for both financial advisors and corporate staff. This individual will oversee full employee lifecycle, from recruitment, selection, assessment, administration, onboarding, performance management, and exit processes, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted HR partner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while managing, updating, and maintaining the employee handbook and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. A passion for exceptional service, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization are essential for success in this role.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer and continuously improve Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records; oversee onboarding and offboarding to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Design and deliver companywide training and development initiatives.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture through open communication and collaboration.
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization to support engagement and organizational goals.
- Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Communicate and educate employees on company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintain and enhance key employee resources such as the employee handbook and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; monitor and update policies to reflect current requirements and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging trends, best practices, regulatory updates, and HR technologies to inform and improve HR operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in human resources or a related function; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications.
- High degree of professionalism, strong work ethic and exceptional follow-through.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, train, and build relationships across all levels.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Skilled in project management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented and organized in all aspects of work.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and employee relations matters with discretion and confidentiality.

- Work Structure: 8: 00am – 5: 00pm with the opportunity to flex your work hours after 1 year (i.e. 7am-4pm, 9am-6pm)
