The College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University is seeking a Program Manager for Preparation, Response, Engagement and Practice. This role partners with teachers and administrators within an assigned school to enhance elementary math instruction through research-based practices, including "Shanghai math." Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, exercises, and assessments, modeling effective teaching strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships within schools. The Program Manager will also prepare reports, observe math instructions and teaching as well as contribute to future program dissemination. Applicants should demonstrate strong knowledge of math curriculum and instructional methods, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in educational settings.
