Job Description

Position Summary:
The TML is tasked with the mission to effectively transfer information between shifts and convey status, highlight issues, and ensure smooth transition. The TML oversees reactive maintenance tasks during the shift to minimize downtime by collaborating with shift TPLs and directing shift Craftsmen.



Shift: Night


Pay rate: $36.45/hr



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist the Craftsmen in troubleshoot difficult electrical and mechanical discrepancies to determine the best corrective action.
* Coordinates shift activities providing guidance throughout the shift concerning equipment priorities.
* Monitors Craftsmen performance and audit activities to ensure personnel are performing their roles.
* Ensure that EH&S rules are followed by Craftsman.
* Actively identifies sources of risk and maintenance responsibility for risk mitigation using JHAs as primary communication tool.
* Ensures proper shift to shift handovers - Craftsman to Craftsman.
* Communicates with GMLs concerning maintenance priorities, work activities and shift responsibilities.
* Serves as a vessel for cascading information to their shift.
* Works with all areas Production TPLs to reallocate maintenance to TPL-determined priority issues.
* Works with other areas TMLs to reallocate maintenance from area to area as need to support plant priorities.
* Actively monitors and improves their area's 5S. (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, & Sustain).
* Confirms SAP work orders generated for the jobs on their shift.
* Follows equipment downtime escalation protocol for each assigned MPG.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education



  • Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred. Relevant military training may be considered in lieu of a degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology. Relevant Military or work experience may be considered in lieu of education.


Requirements:



  • 2 - 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
  • Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Computer aptitude, to include proficiency in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Management.
  • AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
  • SAP PM experience preferred.
