Strategic Partner Manager - Keysight Design Engineering Software (DES)


As a Strategic Partner Manager in Keysight's growing Design Engineering Software Business, you will help to grow the ecosystem for our portfolio of software products, with a focus on working with partners in the electronic design automation (EDA) space and with semiconductor foundry partners.

The chosen candidate will have a demonstrated track record of working with partners, managing technical projects across teams that are both internal and external, will have keen abilities to influence and manage relationships, and will be capable of driving many parallel projects at any given time. In addition, the Strategic Partner Manager may also be pulled into M&A opportunities for DES to assess market segments, help prioritize targets, and develop materials to present to the executive team.

Above all, the selected candidate will be hungry to deliver value to Keysight with a can-do approach to meeting business targets and objectives.


Responsibilities

Key activities include:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with software partners in the EDA space, which include but are not limited to Synopsys, Ansys, Siemens, Cadence, and Altium
  • Find and develop go-to-market opportunities with EDA partners that will enable growth for Keysight software products
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at semiconductor foundry partners such as TSMC and Global Foundries
  • Find and analyze market research for M&A opportunities
  • Manage and negotiate partner contracts such as NDAs, OEM agreements, and/or software loan agreements
  • Ownership and creation of partner management tools, collateral, and infrastructure

Qualifications

Experience & key skills desired:

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent, in business or a technical subject, such as Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales / marketing / business development, ideally with some experience in software
  • Expert communication skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives, as well as drive tactical activities with individual engineers
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to multi-task many opportunities at one time
  • Results oriented - driven to succeed, hungry to develop business results that align with strategic goals and objectives
  • Self-starter - independent, accountable, collaborative, hunter, finder, connector
    Influencer - ability to lead and influence large teams across functional boundaries to achieve success
  • Experience working and thriving in fast-paced environments
  • Leadership mindset and passion to bring teams together and deliver on commitments
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and passion for excellence

This role is open to work remotely in the US or Europe.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California (Bay Area) pay range: MIN $184,120, MIDPOINT - $245,490.00- MAX $306,870.00

Colorado and all other pay range: MIN $155,370.00 MIDPOINT - $207,160.00 - MAX - 258,950.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
