Under the direction of the manager of Clinical Case Management will collaborate with external and internal constituents in accordance with the professional standards of the discipline, applicable regulatory requirements and business objectives of the organization to further enhance the outreach affiliations and future affiliated programs with community providers. Incumbent will be responsible for analyzing such complex business problems using data to provide insight to decision makers. This may include but not limited to independently performing comprehensive analysis, reporting and overall data across the institution. Such data can vary and can span across financial, clinical, and quality data. Leveraging knowledge of business data and market impacts, incumbent will work with appropriate units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Reports as needed will be created based on specifications and incumbent will participate to optimize the performance of enterprise tools that add value to the organization. Incumbent will manage data collection, validation, analysis, modeling, and coordination of reporting of data for internal and external use. The incumbent will create and distribute data reports specific to monitored indicators. Serve as a liaison for developing performance improvement quality and safety projects ensuring the appropriate methodology design and deployment. Coach staff and managers on the use of analytical tools to understand collection of data. Coach staff and managers on the interpretation of data dashboards to understand collected and reported data. Apply program management techniques to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of all projects. Manage projects and ensure their compliance with department and regulatory
requirements.
The incumbent participates in multiple committees, both internally and externally, representing Clinical Case Management (CCM) Department and the University.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other relevant field and several years of experience and/or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Experience and exposure to providing complex data to executive level constituents.
- Experience with a broad spectrum of complex analytical duties that lead to new and/or not yet tested recommendations.
- Previous experience that impacts broad organizational unit and/or Medical Center Setting.
- Experience in service line program management with skills to manage several projects and processes simultaneously.
- Experience determining and locating unique or specialized sources for collecting information which require thorough and in-depth understanding of the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the analysis.
- Experience performing complex analysis involving multiple variables across a broad spectrum with skills to develop problem-solving methodologies or strategies and evaluates criteria.
- Experience conducting complex data analysis projects as well as measuring and monitoring the consistency and accuracy of data produced through statistical analysis.
- Project management skills in organizing work effectively and to meet given budgets and timeframes while working well under pressure and to remain Flexible in an environment with changing demands and priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills to understand and articulate diverse clients' needs and objectives; manage expectations and deliver as promised and on time.
- Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards, and best practices.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant internal databases, applications, and tools. Proficiency in understanding of relational databases, database structure and design, data management and data warehousing.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner to explain data analysis to non-technical audiences (diverse audiences including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrator and a wide variety of non-technical staff).
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of professional and technical staff.
- Skills to organize, synthesize, and analyze large amounts of information both financial and quality.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing analytic product that consistently meets the highest standards of accuracy.
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and the skills to effectively utilize software applications (MS Office and Outlook) and applicable statistical software applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.

- Lean and Six Sigma training or similar methodologies experience.
