The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Radiologist to join the Body and Abdominal Imaging Division. Appointment rank on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator career track will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring FSM trainees and students.

The Department of Radiology faculty provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center in the North Michigan Avenue area of downtown Chicago, is the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine and is the academic center of the Northwestern Medicine network of regional hospitals and outpatient centers. State-of-the art facilities and IT (Visage PACS, EPIC) are available for all imaging modalities related to body imaging, including Siemens GI Fluoroscopy units, over 10 MDCT scanners including photon counting and DECT and over 20 clinical MR scanners. Ultrasound includes high quality abdominal, pelvic, and small parts exams (nonOB). The section fosters teamwork, mentorship and well-being. There are 8 excellent fellows, weekly conferences and academic time, and reading room assistants.

Qualified candidates must be board certified, with additional training in abdominal imaging. The ideal candidate will have expertise in abdominal and pelvic imaging and a demonstrated interest in an academic career. Excellent diagnostic clinical skills are also a prerequisite in this high-volume department (CT, MR, ultrasound and GI/GU radiology excluding interventional procedures).

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $380,000 - $500,000.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
