Position Summary:

As the Manufacturing Excellence Manager you play apivotal role in leading the development, alignment, and execution of a comprehensive performance improvement strategy across our factory. As the go-to expert and single point of contact for Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) initiatives, you will play a crucial role in shaping our operational success. You'll collaborate with diverse teams, inspire innovation, and implement best practices that elevate our manufacturing processes to new heights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly report to the Factory Manager.
  • Functionally partner with Market TPM Regional Managers.
  • Responsible for the NCE Implementation Strategy, Nestle Pillar activities, and Industrial Performance within the factory.
  • Supervise Manufacturing Excellence Specialists where applicable.
  • Co-develop a factory improvement strategy that considers:
    • Business priorities
    • Loss analysis and external benchmarks
    • A three-year planned progression of KPIs, people, and workplace transformation (Factory Vision).
    • Gain alignment from the Factory Leadership Team and key stakeholders on the three-year plan.
    • Cascade the plan across all factory levels through an effective communication strategy.
  • Partner with the Factory Leadership Team and Local Leadership Teams to translate the factory improvement strategy into actionable implementation plans that deliver expected results, including:
    • Nestle Continuous Excellence rollout plan and digital roadmap
    • Key improvement projects
    • Important competency-building activities
    • External benchmarking and support requirements
  • Support the execution of the improvement plan by:
    • Ensuring proper governance and routines at factory and local leadership levels to track execution progress and sustainability of improvements.
    • Spending time on the factory floor to evaluate maturity progression and identify key opportunities.
    • Providing guidance and feedback to leadership and aligning on corrective actions to adjust execution plans.
    • Develop the Factory Leadership Team and Pillar Owners' ability to identify opportunities for workplace, people, and behavioral transformation through GEMBA visits.
    • Partner with the HR/Education & Training Pillar to establish and evaluate the robustness of the function/pillar capability plan.
    • Train and coach the Factory Leadership Team, Pillar Owners, and System Owners on necessary system competencies based on development needs, escalating for external support as needed.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing or continuous improvement environment is required, with a preference for candidates with food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of competence in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and/or World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies and implementations
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred.
  • Proven success in leading and developing cross-functional teams.
  • Direct production or maintenance floor experience.
  • Proven expertise collaborating with factory management and leadership teams.
  • Experience in project management, loss intelligence, and advanced problem-solving.
  • Expertise in goal alignment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Lean implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of digital tools, including Power BI, MES systems, SAP, and other visualization tools; experience in data analytics is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cultural change management, with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities and work effectively with all levels of the factory.
  • Ability to understand and learn new manufacturing processes quickly, identifying challenges and areas for improvement.
  • Experience in developing line labor standards, budget preparation and review, and conducting line capability/speed studies.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Project management skills.

The approximate pay range for this position is $145,000.00 to $155,000.00.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
