What to Expect

TheWorkplaceOperations team is responsible for support manufacturing and non-manufacturing and providing soft services to production, engineering, sales, service, energy, and general and administrative teams. This role will contribute to the team by helping to solve unique problems in a creative and often unconventional manner through the lens of an adaptable and data-driven approach. The OperationsSupervisorwill lead dailyworkplacesite operations and provide strategic input on creating and maintaining an amazingworkplaceexperience for Gigafactory Nevada employees.

Shift: Monday-Friday


What You'll Do
  • Directly manage the site-specificworkplaceoperations team, daily operations, including furniture builds, office space and event management
  • Strategically manage site space planning-move and new hire coordination, seating plans, department headcount verification, hotel desk management, training space, and all new non-manufacturing space requests
  • Project manage various facilities andworkplaceprojects and events-define scope, develop logistics plans, identify budgets, create and maintain proper tracking procedures, coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders, communication plans, and follow through completion
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track projects, budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators
  • Manage and forecast the site-specific department operating and capital expenditure budgets
  • In conjunction with the otherWorkplaceteam members, assist with process creation, implementation, and maintenance for programs and servicesworkplaceoffers
  • Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Business or Operations or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years ofWorkplace, Facilities or Construction experience
  • Minimum 2 years of people management experience
  • A customer-centric attitude and enthusiasm to supportworkplaceclients/other departments
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills
  • Robust problem solving, resourceful, and creative skills with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments under constant changing priorities
  • Evidence of exceptional ability
