About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will also include Part Marking and Shipment Invoicing responsibilities. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the logistics, identification, and distribution process, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately processed, identified, and recorded.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers efficiently.
  • Stock inventory in designated areas of the facility.
  • Operate ERP systems and other warehouse equipment to fulfill orders accurately.
  • Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate with team members and schedules to ensure timely job completion for in-house operations and outside process operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities of products.
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Contact suppliers for product status and estimated shipment dates.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 0-3 years relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing standards and practices.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and fulfillment.
  • Ability to operate basic part marking equipment (e.g., bar codes, scribing tools, laser marking machine, dot peen, ink stamping, and electro-chemical etching).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
