Storeroom Attendant - Inventory & Material Handling

Location: Jaffrey, NH

Pay: $22 - $24 per hour

Job Type: Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 4 PM

Staffmark is seeking a reliable Storeroom Attendant to manage inventory, issue materials, and maintain organized stock at an on-site location. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, parts, and equipment.
  • Check shipments for damage or discrepancies and document any issues.
  • Organize, label, and maintain materials on shelves, racks, or bins.
  • Issue tools, parts, and materials to employees and track returns.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Update inventory records in management systems and request replenishments as needed.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for wear or damage and report issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storeroom environment.
  • Assist with delivery of materials or tools to work areas as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.



Qualifications



  • Minimum of 3 months experience in warehousing, inventory, or material handling.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read work orders, safety instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory software preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
  • Safety-conscious with attention to proper PPE usage.


Physical Requirements



  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching required.
  • Steel-toe shoes and other PPE required.
  • May require warehouse equipment certification.
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
