What You'll Do



  • Program and troubleshoot AC/DC digital/analog drive systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and HMI systems
  • Update and manage PLC programs for production lines and archive on the plant network drive
  • Perform electrical design tasks, including modifications, instrumentation, control upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct and maintain arc flash analysis, labeling, and coordination studies for plant power distribution and production lines
  • Set up and maintain machine data acquisition systems and data-logging software (e.g., Citeck, Wonderware) for extrusion and loose-tube lines, including scripting, server data collection, and report generation
  • Maintain electrical and mechanical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems per OSHA requirements for manufacturing and production lines
  • Diagnose electrical failures and perform analytical troubleshooting to implement equipment upgrades/improvements that increase uptime, output, quality, and reliability
  • Set up and maintain PC production line equipment, including Liburdi WinTube welding systems
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and electrical wiring/schematic drawings using AutoCAD; update plant and production line electrical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards for site, personnel, and system safety
  • Leverage Lean Manufacturing tools (5S+1 in office areas, TPM on manufacturing floor) and collaborate closely with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and IT teams



What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with machine data acquisition systems and scripting/reporting tools
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, arc flash analysis, and manufacturing power systems
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and use AutoCAD
  • Ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be local-onsite daily; relocation expenses not provided
  • U.S. citizenship required; candidate should live within about 45 minutes of the site



Hours & Pay



  • Pay Range: $105,000 per year (entry level for new grads considered; experienced engineers may exceed)
  • Bonus: Approximately 4% annual bonus based on performance
  • Schedule: Standard onsite, full-time/direct hire, manufacturing environment
