The Opportunity

As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for our Elgen business, you'll lead regional growth by managing key customer relationships and developing a high-performing sales team. You'll combine strategic account leadership with people management, ensuring our team drives sustainable growth and delivers an exceptional customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to influence both tactical execution and long-term strategy within a dynamic and growing business unit.

What You'll Do Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Elgen's overall growth objectives.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key distributors, contractors, and OEM partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead initiatives to capture emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to promote Elgen's brand and solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage pricing, contracts, and rebate programs within policy guidelines.
  • Partner with operations and customer service teams to ensure delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

People Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team to achieve ambitious performance targets.
  • Set clear goals, conduct regular reviews, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and training to build capability and engagement across the team.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor and analyze regional market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Share actionable insights with cross-functional partners to inform strategy and product development.
  • Represent the "voice of the customer" across the organization, advocating for continuous improvement.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, managing pipelines to meet regional goals.
  • Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing regional insights and customer demand trends.
  • Ensure alignment between sales goals, production capacity, and inventory planning.

Financial & Performance Accountability

  • Achieve or exceed regional sales, margin, and profitability goals.
  • Manage regional budgets, including travel, trade shows, and promotional spend.
  • Provide performance reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7-10+ years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ years leading people or teams.
  • Proven success in territory and account management - ideally in industrial, HVAC, or building products.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (25-50%).
